For the last 20+ years I have led strategies for global operating manufacturers and brands. By asking 3 simple questions:

3) Be explicit on where it is you want to go, and why. Close that gap.

I have led product design, corporate design, graphic design departments. created brand strategies for global leading brands, led innovation strategies and R&D roadmaps. Created processes to effectively create and execute brand, product, communication and overall growth strategies. Developed go-to-market strategies to enter new markets and geographies, and address new customers. Winner of numerous design awards, rebrand awards and business management recognitions.

Only results count. You can only improve when you measure your results. Cascading company wide goals and objectives throughout the entire organization (strategy deployment) together with RCCM methodology (Root Cause Counter Measure), daily dashboards, individual goals, weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews. Clear cost centers, budget process, and accountability.

I am the coach. The best players are out on the field. I make sure we have the best players to execute the strategy, we have the most efficient structures. We put incentive in place to reward the players for achieving their goals and motivate them. We serve our employees and create a culture of collaboration. Performance management is key.
